And we’re back…

Colonna & Sons

It’s been a crazy ride. Today my daughter is turning 6 months old. She’s beautiful. She’s adorable. But man is having a toddler exhausting! We haven’t been able to write as much these last few months, nor were we very active on social media. But I feel like we’re starting to get the hang of it.

Suze Spritz Cocktail

Suze Spritz cocktail

We love old school mixology and original liquors that make great cocktails and impress guests. Suze is definitely one of these. Have you ever heard of it? Suze is basically a bitter apéritif drink made from the gentian root. And though it’s a French favourite, it was actually invented in Switzerland. Most importantly, have you ever tasted it? If it’s your first time, I would definitely recommend you try it in a cocktail. And we have just the drink for that: the Suze spritz.

Memories of New York

As I was telling you last weekend, I was supposed to go to New York at the beginning of the month. It was a work trip, planned a while ago -then cancelled at the last minute… Instead, I decided to sort my pictures of the Big Apple, taken with a vintage Minolta film camera over the 5 years we spent in the US, and to choose 10 to turn into arty postcards.

Brooklyn Rive Gauche – Part 1

Parisian department store Le Bon Marché is celebrating all things Brooklyn until October 17th and we’re delighted to have been chosen as a partner for the event! It happened very naturally… As a born and bred Parisian, I spent many an afternoon on the store’s last floor (which used to host the men’s and sportswear lines) and later on in their basement where all of the menswear collections are displayed. Also, of course, Olivia is a born and raised New-Yorker and we lived in Brooklyn together where we experienced first-hand the borough’s exceptional creativity.
