I love living in London. But as a born and bred Parisian, I often miss Paris. It’s been nearly a month since I was last there for work and to reminisce about the motherland, I was looking earlier at recent streetstyle pictures from Paris Fashion Week.
We’re not into the whole fashion week thing. We don’t believe in fashion being that cyclical and think instead that a great garment is one that is relevant from a year to the next. All this to say that while you can spot a slew of strong outfits every January in Paris, this year, there were only two that really stood out for me.
Why? Because they featured solid but simple menswear pieces that are as valid in 2018 as they were in 2008 or in 1998. A good pair of jeans, black lace up boots, a traditional navy jacket and a hat -one a bit bolder than the other but both classic.
What do you messieurs think? Let us know on social media (@leclubdesdouze) and check out the whole set by Imaxtree for Fashionista if like me you need a bit of Paris inspo.
