I heard that fellow French blogger Florent-Alexis Wessels Faustin launched a collection of made-to-measure suits and accessories but I hadn’t gotten around to meeting him to discuss his referral-only business, Confident Paris. Needless to say, I was very excited when he invited me to come visit his workshop (and apartment) in Paris’ 18th district. Just as I expected, his style was on point and I had to snap his picture and share the outfit with you.
When I met him on Tuesday, he was wearing a navy three-piece pinstripe suit from his collection. As he shared with me “this is basically my uniform, I find the vest super functional; plus, it comes in handy to hide your shirt, when it starts to get wrinkly at midday”. He paired it with a modern short-collar shirt and a tie made from the same fabric as the suit, also from his collection. The pants are short enough to show off ankles (that’s his signature look) and a pair of beat-up Markowski derbys.
What do you think of Florent-Alexis’ style? Let me know on Instagram.
